Joe graduated from Western Carolina University with a business degree and a marketing major.
Worked for Sears Roebuck & Co. for 40 years in the B2B commercial sales business unit. He was division manager, regional sales manager, district manager, marketing manager, national manager, business development manager and industrial sales brand manager for the Craftsman Brand.
After retirement in 2010 he continues to work as an independent franchise broker affiliated with the Franchise Brokers Association, FBA, as a Certified Franchise Broker, CFB, Franchise Immigration Specialist, FIS.
He is a member of the Brunswick Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, past board of director member with the St. Charles, IL Chamber of Commerce. A volunteer certified SCORE mentor since 2010, past Vice-Chairman of that organization as well as a volunteer work with The Lazarus House shelter in St. Charles, IL and the Tri-Cities Exchange Club.
