Ray Pillar – President/Owner Molly Maid of Aurora-Naperville

In the early part of the new century Ray Pillar found the high-tech industry, which he had been employed in all his life, was in a constant change. Working for a land line telephone equipment manufacturer at a time when the world was moving to cellular technology put the writing on the wall. After careful study, it was apparent to take his father’s advice and go into business. Statistically 80% of all business start-ups fail. The odds are better if starting a franchise with an 80% chance of success.

Deciding to stay away from high tech and food. Ray Pillar and his wife decided to invest their savings in a well-known and respected franchise called Molly Maid. A big plus for Molly Maid was the benevolent association for domestic violence awareness called the Miss Molly Association. Although on the surface a residential cleaning company appears to be low tech, the software that tracks clients was award winning. Fast tracking fifteen years later with several expansions, finds the business one of the largest in the Molly Maid family. Currently, Molly Maid of Aurora Naperville employs 48.
