Stephanie Coffey, Co-Founder and COO, Frenchies Modern Nail Care

Stephanie Coffey is the co-founder + COO of Frenchies Modern Nail Care. The first Frenchies opened their doors to service guests on February 14^th, 2014. To date, the brand has grown to 23 studios opened in 13 states.

Nail care is a $14b industry that is highly fragmented and very unsophisticated. Frenchies vision is to revolutionize the nail care industry by providing healthy, non-toxic environment for guests and team members along with providing an exceptional guest experience. Frenchies happily serves 4,000+ Polish Pass members and has provided over 133,000 manicures and pedicures to their guests.

In addition to being Frenchies franchisor, Stephanie has been a multi-unit franchisee for Anytime Fitness for 10+ years. Before launching Frenchies, she was the Brand President/SVP of Franchise Development & Support for Waxing the City – a Self Esteem Brands portfolio company. There she was responsible for revamping the concept, building a team and bringing Waxing the City to market. Prior to focusing on Frenchies, she grew Waxing the City to over 140 territories sold and 70 studios opened.

Before joining Self Esteem Brands, Stephanie was Vice President of Operations for Knowledge Learning Corporation which is a national education leader delivering customized before and after school extended learning and enrichment programs.  Here Stephanie led a $63M ops organization comprised of 1,500 employees who were responsible for the day-to-day operations of 640 clients, and 1,800 locations which served over 75,000 children nationwide.

Prior to that, she was the COO of Advanced Exercise which is the nation’s largest distributor of Life Fitness equipment. In this position, Stephanie led the $24m company and was responsible for growing its revenue double digits for 5 consecutive years. In addition, she was responsible for the company’s P&L, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations.

Stephanie received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from St. Mary’s University of MN, and a Master of International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management – Thunderbird.
