Peter Ortiz graduated in 1985 with a degree in Political Science from The Ohio State University. Peter started his career in 1988 in the franchise industry as a Director of Franchise Development with The Prudential Insurance Company. During his 3 years at Prudential he learned all facets of franchising and played a key role in the nationwide expansion of the Prudential network.
In 2003, after many years in the insurance, real estate and automotive franchise segments Peter changed direction and entered the restaurant segment with Quiznos. Since entering the restaurant arena he has held several high level positions with Noble Romans Pizza, Focus Brands and Uberrito Mexican restaurants and currently holds the position of Vice President of Franchise Development with Potbelly Restaurants. 
With nearly 30 years of relevant executive – level experience in senior franchise development and brand management Peter has executed the sale of nearly 2,000 franchises throughout the United States and internationally, resulting in millions in revenue for corporations and franchisors. His role with these organizations covered all aspects of franchise development, real estate, design and construction, franchise administration and legal.
