Moni Singh is a recognized business leader and entrepreneur who has impacted Telecom, Energy and Education sectors. Under her leadership, STEM For Kids has grown to be an 2020 Entrepreneur Franchise 500 Ranking of 280. and recognized as a top emerging franchise three years in a row.
Moni is the recipient of prestigious awards including the Triangle Business Journal Women in Business Award, Enterprising Women of the Year Award Honoree conferred by the Enterprising Women Magazine, Triangle Business Journal’s 40 under 40, and News and Observer’s TarHeel of the Week.
Before venturing into education, Moni was instrumental in solving global problems by contributing to design, development, manufacturing and sales of technologies like wireless and satellite phones and internet to homes. She frequently consults on matters pertaining to sales operations, sourcing, schools-industry partnering and schools turnaround.
Moni volunteers for causes related to education and women’s employment. Moni is an inspirational speaker and is regularly invited for public speaking, interviews and panel discussions on matters pertaining to entrepreneurship, education, STEM, Computer Science in schools and women issues.
She holds Bachelors of Engineering Degree in Computer Science and Technology with Honors from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and an MBA with Honors from Duke University. She lives in Raleigh, NC USA with her husband and three children.
