Kim Collier – Director of Franchise Development, Ducklings Early Learning Center

Kim Coller is Director of Franchise Development at Ducklings Early Learning Centers. Kim Collier got her start in franchising when she realized it was the obvious path for the daycare
business her mother started 27 years ago. Having served as the Director of Operations of Ducklings
Early Learning Centers for almost 20 years, she not only knew the business inside and out, but
understood it would be difficult to grow past 4 units while maintaining the integrity of their mission as
well their reputation as the best in Early Education. With the help of some incredible mentors and an
All-Star Ducklings Franchise Team, Ducklings signed its first franchise agreement in 2019 and will have 8
franchise locations and 2 corporate owned schools open in early 2022.
As the Director of Franchise Development, Kim’s concentration is growth with a purpose and partnering
with franchisees who will add to the brand. A mother herself, she is proud to work in a female forward
industry that makes it possible for both mothers and fathers to return to work as well as offering
opportunities for advancement to childcare staff through state sponsored certificate programs. Kim is a member of the Philadelphia Women’s Franchise Network and the International Society of Female
Professionals. She lives in West Chester, PA with her husband and 3 children.
