Jason Kallen, Founder & President at City Boy Farms
Jason Kallen is the President and founder of City Boy Farms, Jason has been involved in the cannabis industry for over 25 years, he started his cannabis career in Los Angeles as an indoor hydroponic grower. Being a certified organic farmer of artichokes, the transition to outdoor cultivation was a logical and easy step.
Starting in 2009, Jason began cannabis oil extraction. Starting with Rosin and quickly expanding into CO2 extraction. The oil extraction led to formulating edibles, a lotion for pain management, and vape cartridges.
During this time Jason was involved in the politics of legalization. From Los Angeles, and Monterey county, to San Luis Obispo county, he attended meetings and worked with local elected officials as a voice for the industry. In 2016 Jason founded the SLO chapter of NORML. As the Executive Director he had more access to local government and was able to help form the cannabis ordinance that is in place today.
