Doug Plank, Former Chicago Bear and Entrepreneur
Doug Plank grew up as a multi-sport athlete in high school, afterwards Doug went on to play football for The Ohio State University and then to the NFL for the Chicago Bears where he was known as one of the hardest hitting safeties in the game. Following his playing career, Doug coached in the NFL and Arena football and has worked as a football analyst for Fox Sports, for NFL and NCAA radio broadcasts, Arizona Cardinals and Arizona State to name a few.
He also dove into the franchising world as a multi-unit franchisee with Burger King over a 20-year period. He continues to manage the real estate for several fast food locations and has his real estate license. He recently secured his life and health insurance license and is currently studying for his series 65 securities license. He is also pursuing his residential contract license for the second time.
Doug will be broadcasting NFL games on national radio in three weeks.And we will talk to him about his latest venture as an approved franchisee for Wendy’s and Culvers.
